Eve is one of the earliest characters created in the Evening Reigns universe. Long before the Obscura Shadowglass series began to take shape, she existed as a visual idea first—a presence before a story.
She was originally created through hand-crafted digital renderings, carefully built piece by piece rather than generated. Each element was intentionally designed: her platinum hair, sharp makeup, piercings, dark wardrobe, and elegant but dangerous attitude. The goal was to create a character who felt powerful, mysterious, and quietly defiant—someone who could walk through chaos without flinching.
Those early renderings were created by assembling and editing visual components, adjusting poses, lighting, styling, and expressions until the character began to feel alive. It was a slow creative process that required experimentation, layering, and refinement. Every image was a deliberate attempt to capture Eve’s identity before her story even existed.
Over time, a pattern began to emerge in the visuals. Eve always carried the same energy: calm within danger, elegance wrapped in rebellion, beauty with an edge of something darker underneath. That identity eventually became the foundation of the Obscura Shadowglass world.
The original renderings of Eve represent the moment before the story was written—the point where a character is still forming, where personality, atmosphere, and attitude come together visually before words are ever placed on the page.
